This 4 story residence was designed to accommodate the constraints of a complex canyon site with minimal building footprint in the Pacific Palisades. As the second level provides distant views of the Pacific Ocean, the main living level is raised to that level leaving the kitchen and dining area to the ground floor. The house is rotated relative to the street to maximize a stunning view. A louver system repels or permits the entry of sun according to the seasons.
