There are a couple new designs in the office for treehouses.
Where do buildings come from? Trees. We are returning to the source material of the majority of residential construction, creating dwellings from, on and inside them.
High up in the treetops, like a spaceship, like a bird's nest, like a forest fire watch tower. The design will satisfy the need to elevate, escape, observe, float on air with the practical considerations of engineering (swaying in the wind, straps and connections into a tree trunk), construction (how do you build 60 feet in the air) and dreams.
